The Boreholes

HHMAP financed the digging of a borehole on the compound of Kabingori school in Embeere. The school no longer have to purchase water. As a result, they have erected a proper school building and a church, due to the benefit of having their own water.

This water also serves the community. The boreholes HHMAP provided continues to produce clean water to each community. We can never calculate the number of lives we have prevented from contaminating water borne deceases. This thought gives us great joy.

Many families provided encouraging reports about the breeding and multiplying of their goats. They receive much milk from the dairy goats for their families, and some have followed the principle we lay down in giving a kid to another poor family.

However we were saddened to know that some goats have died, maybe through lack of care or drought diminishing the vegetation. We have replaced a few goats that have died.

Education Project

Three students graduated in October 2012. One from Nairobi Medical College with a Medical Technician degree. Another from Bugema University in Uganda with a BA in Theology.

We have been supporting these students for three years and we feel proud to be part of their achievements. Another student whom we supported has also graduated from the University of Nairobi with a degree in Economics.
